The YOU Portrait takes a different approach. This is a slow, considered portrait. Each session is carefully curated and results in a truly unique piece of art.

The Idea
Modern photography often produces hundreds of images in seconds. The YOU Portrait slows the process down.
By working with a single roll of medium-format film, the session becomes deliberate. Each frame is considered, allowing space for natural expression and quiet moments to emerge. The result is a portrait that is tactile, deliberate, and uniquely yours.
The Process
The Session
The portrait is photographed on medium-format film using a Mamiya RB67 camera. The session lasts approximately 45 minutes and focuses on natural expression rather than posed photography.
The Film
The roll of film is hand-developed and carefully scanned to preserve the tonal depth and texture unique to analogue photography.
The Portrait
From the roll of film, one image is selected as the final portrait. This image is scanned, but you also receive the original negative framed — tactile, physical, and uniquely yours. This is YOU.
